The classic tartan pattern debuted in the 1975 model year on the second-generation Porsche 911. Thanks to turbocharging, an extremely powerful version was created in the G-model of the time: the 911 Turbo. To this day, the turbo symbolizes superlatives far beyond the brand itself. To mark its fiftieth anniversary, the fabric is currently celebrating a renaissance and shines brightly in the limited-edition 911 Turbo 50 Years special model of the 992 series.
